Bloganuary prompt: Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?
After many years, many missteps, and many difficult lessons, I finally found someone who truly loves me every day. I love you, Michele and I feel loved at all times.

Love sought is good, but given unsought is better
Let’s take yesterday as an example
I interviewed for a new position yesterday. Job changes are always scary. They disrupt the status quo, and they bear the risk of not being what you expect. I have a lot of experience with job changes.
I had prepared well for this interview. I had written a good cover letter (did they ever get to read that?). I had prepared some questions and mentally prepared myself to put my best foot forward in a stressful situation.
I think the interview went well, and I know my chances of being hired for this position are not great.
All of this is beside the point, though!
When I told Michele how things went during the interview and how I felt about it, she told me that she was proud of me and that whatever the outcome, we would be fine.
I never before had a partner who loved me this much.
