Here we go again 🙂 I am looking forward to posting as many Inktober images as I can manage. I did work ahead a little bit because we are going on vacation. I will update this post as we go along.

1 Moustache
Today is the beginning of #inktober, and I will attempt to post one picture of the daily prompt every day.
2 Weave
Sometimes we weave and sometimes we are woven into life…
3 Crown
The Crown-of-thorns is a mean. As well as being good at eating, it is also a good runner 🥈
4 Murky
As promised, today we are back to the adventures of Sturge the Sturgeon.
Sturge was planning to explore the place where Humans lived when they were about 100 years younger. But something made the waters very murky.
5 Deer
Sturge couldn’t quite figure out how the Deer managed to breathe under water but, hey, other mammals had managed….
6 Pierce
Sturge is always amazed that the fishing hooks are sharp enough to #pierce old boots.
They always wondered why humans are so keen on pulling them out of the water…
7 Starfish
Sturge knows that Starfish eat a lot of the same things they did, but with his strong fins, they were much faster than the invertebrate.
8 Reckless
Sturge always got angry at the humans for recklessly leaving all this junk on the ocean floor. Wasn’t it enough that they had to ingest all those microplastics? A lot of sea creatures get hurt all the time.
9 Heavy
Sturge felt very heavy this morning. The extra helping of crustaceans yesterday might have something to do with it.
10 Sweep
Sturge was very happy that their friends had invited them to sweep on their curling 🥌 team. They weren’t very good at aiming (with their eyes on the side of the head and all) but their powerful tail was just perfect for sweeping.
11 Sting
When they first met, Sturge was a little intimidated by Sting, the large stingray. But they quickly became best friends.
12 Shredded
Sturge didn’t understand why the humans kept throwing sculptures in the water but man, this one was shredded.
13 Drink
Sturge only drank water but whatever the humans had in those glass bottles made them all crazy.

14 Trunk
For over 50 years Sturge the sturgeon had played in and around the old trunk. Sometimes they wondered how it got here.
15 Ragged
Whenever Sturge the Sturgeon and Raggi the Ragged tooth shark went on vacation together, they made sure to spend lots of time drinking umbrella-drinks 🍹and hanging out.
16 Blunder
Our city’s bicycle infrastructure and how it handles it, is a unending series of blunders.
Sturge the Sturgeon was going North on Ethel on the “divided” one-directional bike path when suddenly the right side was closed. There is no alternative way, no further signage…. The only way to continue going North, Sturge has to ride in the wrong direction on the tiny bike path. #blunder
17 Ornate
Swimming through the ruins of the sunken City and admiring the ornate floors is one of Sturge’s favourite things to do.
18 Deal
Whenever they played cards, Sturge could not deal the cards because he had only fins. Their buddy Davy however had lots of arms and handy suction cups.
