It was a tiring day but also very fulfilling. I learned to make a dinner triangle and a striker out of two pieces of metal. How to heat the material, how to pound it, twist it and bend it. I learned how to build the fire and how much patience is needed.
Living With A Poet
I'm a lucky guy! I have many things to be grateful for but one of the best things is sharing my life with Michele who (among a lot of things) is a poet.
What Do I Want To Be?
I don't remember what I wanted to be when I was a child. I don't think people focused on that very much when I grew up.

My Favourite Meal
I like to try new recipes we find (mostly) online. Cooking at home is so much better for our bodies and our budget. If I rely on creating things on my own, I often get into a rut and cook the same four recipes over and over.
What’s That Smell?
Bloganuary prompt: Do you have a memory that's linked to a smell? What an interesting question. I know a lot of smells that trigger feelings.
Fear Is The Path To The Dark Side
The funny thing with fear: once you conquer it, it doesn't seem so scary anymore.
Cycling The World
I love travelling by bicycle. Throughout my life, bikes have allowed me to get from one place to another faster than I could walk with a minimal carbon footprint. When I was a teenager, my bike meant independence; today it means independence from a car.
If I Had a Billion Dollars
when I read today's prompt I immediately thought of the Barenaked Ladies song "If I Had a Million Dollars" and it is stuck in my head now 🙂
