A little over a year ago the stores ran out of yeast because of the pandemic. A friend gave me some sourdough starter and I have baked sourdough bread every weekend since then. In August I will share all the lessons I learned with you in a free video seminar – stay tuned! I am NOT a professional baker – far from it! I bake only for our own consumption and stick with simple recipes! My Brother Ole and his lovely partner Rahel built an amazing bakery in North Germany called Petsch . They use special flours for each one of their creations and I am very proud of what they have built. Thank you Ole and Rahel for allowing me to wear your logo on my shirt!
